I’ve been an athlete my entire life and dealt with much adversity. Mononucleosis ended my football career at the University of Iowa and baseball at the University of Nebraska was shortened due to shoulder surgery. Although doctors said I would never recover, I played three years of minor league baseball, concluding in the Chicago White Sox organization.
I graduated with an English degree in 2002 and started at Crunch Fitness as a personal trainer–working my way to Elite Trainer. I have worked for myself since 2008 and continue to be an industry leader. My clientele is diverse, ranging from Olympic and professional athletes to grandmas–and everyone in between!
